A large, dark shadow covered you. A chill ran down your spine even before you saw the beast that lay in front of you.
“(Y/N)!” Percy screamed as a set of sharp teeth came down on the sleeve of your hoodie and dragged you out of the safety of the campground.
You looked up at the monster that was dragging you away: the Manticore. It had the head of a human, the body of strong, lean lion, wings, and a long tail that resembled that of a scorpion’s.
You frantically tried to yank your arm away from the beast, but its grip was too tight. It refused to let go.
Out of the corner of your eye, you saw something flash. Percy was holding a long sword made of celestial bronze: Riptide. He charged the animal, sword ready.
The Manticore was expecting this, however. He removed the bite on your hoodie and replaced it with the strangling force of its tail around your waist. With its mouth free, the monster reared up and gave a loud roar that shook the trees. Percy stopped in his tracks.
You punched and pushed on the tail that held you captive, but nothing made it loosen its grip on you.
The tail tightened just as Percy went after the beast again. The Manticore dodged the blow and pawed at Percy, its huge nails poking through its golden fur.
The grip around your waist tightened even more. “Percy!” you screamed, trying to wriggle out of its grip. You reached into your own pocket to try to find your own weapon but came up empty. You had left it in your cabin that morning. You cursed yourself for being so forgetful.
Percy lunged at the Manticore again but was met with a strike across his face. Three long claw marks were visible on his right cheek, blood slowly dripping from the wound.
At that moment, everything froze. Percy, the Manticore, even the river and the rainfall was held in suspension. Then, darkness slowly crept out and filled your vision. The air grew colder, and you shivered violently. The darkness continued to spread until that was all that was left.
-----Percy’s Point of View-----
(Y/N) turned into gold sand, just like my mother. It was happening all over again. Hades wanted her for whatever reason and took away another person who I loved and cared about.
I stood there, frozen in that very spot, for what seemed like forever. (Y/N) was captured.
I couldn’t contain my rage. I ran at the beast, thrashing my sword every which way. However, the monster dodged all of my strikes. Not one mark was made; not one hair out of place.
It charged me. I jumped out of the way. It hit a tree and was slightly dazed. Now was my chance. I took my sword and plunged it into its back. It gaze a loud roar of pain before disappearing. I was left standing there: wet, in pain, sad, but mostly angry. Angry at the man who had taken two people away from me.
I raced back to the camp and found Chiron moved the picnic tables.
“There’s a storm brewing, Percy. I don’t want you out here while the weather is like this. Where is (Y/N)?” he asked, looking around.
“Hades took her. The Manticore kidnapped her,” I explained. The rain must have drenched my face because water was running down it. I didn’t realize until later that I was crying, crying for my first love who had been taken away from me.
“But there’s no way it could’ve gotten in here,” he said, completely confused. “No monsters can get pass the borders.”
“We were walking by the edge about to turn around when the ground shook, and we both fell. Her hand was over the line,” I cried.
Chiron nodded, sadness filling his eyes. “We must rescue her,” he concluded. I nodded in response. “But you must wait until the others return before leaving. Annabeth and Grover will go with you after they have returned.”
I nodded. I didn’t want to have to wait that long before going after (Y/N), but I knew I could never rescue her on my own. I walked back to my cabin, buried my head into a pillow on the couch, and cried. I grabbed the blanket that (Y/N) had been using and hugged it close to me. It still smelled like her: clean with a light piney scent. I remained there for the rest of the day, not wanting to let the memory of (Y/N) fade.
-----Your Point of View-----
Everything was still dark. You couldn’t see anything; you couldn’t hear anything. Everything was quiet and still.
“Hello?” you called out. “Hellooooo?”
A small light shone in front of you. A figure appeared in the center of it: Hades. He slowly walked towards you.
“What do you want with me?” you demanded. You tried to move but something held you back. Chains had appeared on your ankles and wrists. They were attached to the wall behind you.
“Getting straight to the point, I see,” he said, walking closer, coming into focus. “Very well, I will tell you. I’m going to use you as bait to lure Percy down here.”
“Why would you do that?” you asked. Your voice was shaking a little.
“Because he threatens me. He is a son of the Big Three, more powerful than other demigods. He could easily overrule me, but I’m not going to let that happen,” he sneered. He stopped a few feet in front of you. “That’s where you come in. Percy will come here, trying to save you, but he’ll never leave. He will join my pathetic group of souls and forever stay in the Underworld.”
“Percy would never let you do that,” you said, tears forming in the corners of your eyes.
“That’s why I’m sending a few…obstacles in the way. I know he’s not going to travel alone so I’m going to wipe out each of his friends before he makes it down here. That way, he’ll be too sad and angry to make any rational decisions. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have a few monsters I need to send out,” he said before turning and walking away.
“YOU WILL NEVER GET AWAY WITH THIS!” you screamed. Hades walked away, and a faint light was cast on you. You sat down against the wall, pulled your knees to your chest, covered your face with your arms, and sobbed. “Please, Zeus, hear me. Please don’t let Percy, Annabeth, or Grover get hurt. And, please, let me get out of here alive,” you whispered. “Please…”

You'll be okay (Percy Jackson x reader) (song-fic)
Percy had just killed the last monster in the room, when he heard a loud grunt "(Y/N)!" he exclaimed, there were beads of sweat dripping into his eyes, making it hard to see you. At that moment it didn't matter if he couldn't see, all that mattered was your safety. "Percy, I'm here." a small voice whimpered. The sweat out of Percys eyes by the time he had gotten to you, but soon he saw something he never thought he'd see. You had been stabbed through the stomach, a large (and expanding) bloody spot on your otherwise clean white top made Percy cringe. Percy instinctively aided your wound as fast as he possibly could, ripping a thick piece of

Texting -Leo Valdez
You had came home from Camp Half-Blood for winter break and currently you were texting Leo out of pure boredom. Your little step-sister came into your room. "What are you doing (Y/n)?" She asked, walking into your room. "Texting my boyfriend." You answered, trying not to laugh at the joke he made. "Okay." She said, grabbed something and ran out of the room.

Untimely Desire- Leo Valdez X Reader- Chapter 1
"Okay! So here's the plan!" The son of Poseidon started, meanwhile a child of Tyche stood to the side. She twirled her silvery axe while halfheartedly listening. The (h/c)ette glanced at her sibling's that huddled, probably making wagers as to who would win, get maimed, and the like. Although it was tempting to place a bid, the demigod resisted. Making a wager against her lucky sibling's was like blindly trusting a stranger with your life. The outcome could be anything.
"Everyone got it?" Shouted the sea-foam eyed boy. The girl absentmindedly muttered a 'yeah'. Said girl looked in her reflection as she mentally viewed her appearance. (e/c) e
